Remember the new version of the di-lemmata real-life application? We showcased this app, created by Norbert Schröder, in a weekly blog post a while ago. It features a dark custom theme that many people liked, so Norbert finally sat down and worked on a self-contained custom theme. In the last couple of days we helped him to tidy up his code in order to make it available as a new contrib:

The DarkTheme contribution is now part of qooxdoo-contrib, thus it takes advantage of all the infrastructure and quite a streamlined integration. For instance, you can play with it in a regular online demo in the contrib demobrowser. Of course, you can also try it out in your own project: see the contribution’s homepage for some simple steps to do just that.

Thanks Norbert for making this alternative theme available! Everyone interested is certainly welcome to work with Norbert in fine-tuning the theme. Since qooxdoo provides for all the capabilities to create individual custom themes, this should also encourage people to create their own themes and contribute them to the project.
