It's just too bad you did'nt let me make a fool out of myself any longer... I could already foresee the Slashdot headline "Netscape 4 ready for Web 2.0" ! Al. Of course I did. Actually I just happened to get myself an update on qooxdoo from the blog… April Fool’s day is long behind now, so wasn’t so sceptic and, from what I’ve learnt so far about qooxdoo, that was “only” stunning, but certainly not unbelievable/impossible.

It’s just too bad you did’nt let me make a fool out of myself any longer… I could already foresee the Slashdot headline “Netscape 4 ready for Web 2.0″ !

Ok, I understand that the Ecmascript engine is the basis of the current Firefox/Mofo browsers, the memory leaks (circular garbage and other nuisances) are taken care of by qooxdoo already... but still what I'd really like to know: could you describe what the major incompatibilities you had to care about in order to make all this work ?
