qooxdoo at the iX Conference in Frankfurt

qooxdoo has been at the iX conference on “Better Software!” in Frankfurt, Germany on November, 28 and 29, 2006. We shared the booth with the innopract folks to feature our cooperation in the RAP project.

You can see Andreas preparing our qooxdoo demonstration page.

Not that many attendants as we wished (at the whole conference, not only our booth). Andreas gave a short talk on qooxdoo (sorry, no pics) and we had some interesting conversations also with other exhibitors.

Jochen Krause, CEO of innoopract and member of the Board of directors of Eclipse gave a talk on RAP where he prominently mentioned qooxdoo and our planned cooperation.

  1. HI there!

I need to Integrate qooxdoo with JS eclipse . can anybody explain me steps?
which qooxdoo files needed for integration in JS eclipse.

    Thanks in Advance

  2. Hi Niks,

JSEclipse does have built-in support for qooxdoo. Unfortunately, it is still only for qooxdoo 0.5.x, which is an out-dated version with an incompatible coding style compared to the latest qooxdoo version. We are actively trying to have them upgrade their qooxdoo support, though.

It would be great if you, and other users as well, could ask for such extended qooxdoo 0.7.x support in the JSEclipse forum, http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/jseclipse/

PS: The latest version of the Aptana IDE does have initial qooxdoo 0.7 support and shows a nice (still basic) outline for each qooxdoo class file.
